Residential Service in Tullow, Co. Carlow. We are offering an exciting
opportunity for experienced SOCIAL CARE LEADERS to join our client’s
team on a permanent basis, providing essential care to vulnerable
young people in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Social Care Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering
high-quality care while leading and supporting a dedicated team. This
is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people,
guiding them through their personal growth and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and manage a team in the day-to-day care of young people in a
residential setting.
* Support and guide residents as they progress through the service.
* Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained in line with
best practices.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant
equivalent.
* At least 3 years’ experience in Children's Residential Services,
including key working experience.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and
safeguarding procedures.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings,
waking nights, and sleepovers.
* Full clean driving license (manual and automatic licenses
considered).
